Aileen’s place was fantastic, and everything we were looking for in a Maine summer escape. The house was as advertised and the amenities were great. Would recommend this place to those looking for a lowkey lake/pond house.

We had such a nice time at Aileen's place, plenty of space for my family of 4 and two dogs. We were very comfortable, and we would absolutely stay again. Bonus that there trails close by.

We had an amazing time at Aileen’s place! The location is so quiet and being on the water was fantastic. All three of us were able to go kayaking together. My son loved fishing from the dock. We also enjoyed the fire pit

We were up in Portland for a wedding and this was a perfect house for us! It was spacious and comfortable. We had an excellent time and Aileen was very accommodating and left excellent instructions.
I highly recommend this house if you plan to stay in Portland.

If you’re looking for secluded, peaceful, private lake access, and epic sunrises, this is your place! The home is tucked in the woods and the backyard is the lake. They have a grill, fire pit, and private dock. My dogs loved exploring the woods and I couldn’t get enough of the view. Inside was clean and very well stocked. Earlier reviews complained of cleanliness but we had no issue. If I’m ever up in Maine again I’d stay again. 10/10

Spacious, quiet and comfortable for our group of four plus dinner guests. The only thing to be aware of is that the kitchen lighting is a little dim. Beds are comfy, bathrooms are great. We enjoyed our stay.

Aileen’s place was amazing for me, my four friends and our five dogs. Aileen’s place looked exactly like the photos and was clean. We loved having the backyard! Aileen was also very responsive communication wise. I would certainly visit again!

The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. My friends, who hadn’t seen the house beforehand, were all impressed with the rooms, and the beds were very comfortable. The only small complaint was that the upstairs shower was a bit tight, but it wasn’t a big issue. It was just a $10 Uber ride to Allagash! I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area!

Loved Aileen’s home. The place itself was so spacious and just gorgeous. Was Able to work and study while also having quality time with my people . She answered every and apl of my questions with good timing . Only thing is the water gets cold a little quick so be mindful !!!

Had a great stay especially with 4 children there was enough room for my husband and I to divide and conquer!
We know the area well, and were happy to be close to family and friends in a good spot
